Another busy morning. We started off with practicing some numbers. The older two would pick a numbers card and whatever number was on it, we would practice writing on the dry erase boards. Mastered “1, 4, 7”, did pretty well with “6”, but need more practice with “3 & 5”. On to craft time. I cut the shape of trees out of Foam first, then the kids glued on Yellow, Red & Green buttons. They topped off their tree decorating with glitter glue and I made a Star (Sort of) for the top. We moved down to the playroom and played many games of Bean bag toss into the buckets. Next was free play, outside, Lunch, more play time then rest.

We had a busy morning of learning. We began by each child using cards that have different types of lines on them, straight, curved, triangle, circle etc. They were each given a Crayon and their mission was to trace the lines on the card that they had. Once the kids did the straight line a few times, I moved them onto the curved lines, triangles and circles. The smaller two preferred to draw picture on the cards, which was okay too. “M” wanted to use the card on his head and draw. Our next activity was counting the dots on cards and looking at the number. Then, I showed them on my dry erase board how to draw each number and you can see their results, they did great. A lot of fine motor skills used today. They danced to “The Boogie Woogie ABC song. And “K” kept us all singing the regular ABC song for about 15 minutes continuously.
