Today we want to welcome BC to our Daycare family. He and JP were inseparable all day. We were outside all day, again, except for lunch and rest. Everyone was all Sun screened, Sun hatted and protected. Hoping to get the canopies up tomorrow for shade.

Lots of fun and variety today inside. Then we got to enjoy some time outside as well, in the snow. A few went sliding, and a few didn’t.

Today started off as a rainy day so we played in the play room for awhile. Then the sun broke through and we spent the rest of the day outside.
Today was the last day of school for all the kids. It was so beautiful we spent it outside. The kids very much enjoyed the pools, especially the littlest ones. They must have been on there for an hour. They also ran around and played. JP watched as the older girls made crafts out of wood. The girls enjoyed the swings, sandbox and some tag. The two little ones also learned to climb the stairs to their slide, as well as slide down. They are also starting to take steps, how exciting. I know there are a lot of pictures here but there were so many good and cute ones I could not decide. Enjoy.

Today the 5 of us played in the Daycare room during the first part of the morning as it was pretty cold out. CS did his first finger painting, and I did or attempted to do his finger prints. We had some reading time, pre-school learning and lots of time for playing and fun. The two 4 year olds worked very hard on some learning skills, counting, adding, shapes, matching pictures with the “first” letter sound, mazes and more and they did very well. Once it got a bit warmer we headed out, and the fun continued. The kids rode bikes while I pushed the two little ones in the jogger. They did quite a bit of bouncing in the bounce house, chased bubbles and more. Once the School kids arrived they also played in the bounce house, the sand box AND my daughter helped make a “fort” for them to hide in. They thought that was pretty great. Another great day. “K” spent two days working in her Workbook. Today she completed another section, “Matching”, and received her certificate. She loved making tulip flowers using a fork and paint, really cute. She even made two. She was also a princess for play. We played and learned a lot the past couple of days. She is a big help with the baby too. After the School kids got here we went to the back hills and did some sledding. Another great day. Enjoy the pictures.
Today was a beautiful day to be outside. So, you will see “A”Smelling deer tracks in the snow. “S” throwing snowballs at me. Lots of sledding, both standing up and sitting down, as well as swinging and just playing in the snow. Lots of fun had by all. Enjoy the pictures.
Sadly, today is “S”s last day with us. Her parents had an opputunity they could not pass up. We will miss her.
