No School day… Tons of fun March 13 2015
I tried something a bit different this morning. The kids were all hyped up so we all sat down on the mat and for about 10 minutes we practice deep breathing. The kids said it helped, but only they know. Then AB and JP decided to do some push ups and one legged stands. Next we sat down and made “Veggie” masks. The kids loved those, almost as much as coloring some “Frozen & Princess” pictures. They were pretty proud of those, and should be. I worked 1×1 with CS on fine motor skills of holding a pencil/marker. If that wasn’t enough fun, the fort building began, and finished. CS was the first to check it out. He took off through all the curves inside. Then it was “make your own pizza” time. Who knew the kids would get so excited about this project? After lunch we headed back down to the Daycare room so that the kids could all check out the fort. They just sat inside for about the first 30 minutes. I think it got a bit cramped after that. And there were the normal, everyday things: Barbies, peek a boo with CS, kissing the baby, Army figures and silly faces.
Another great day. Enjoy the photos.
