Where care is most like home.

Today I split teaching letters into two groups. I gave “K” and “L” the letters “O and P”, because they were not here when we did them.  I gave “J” and “E” the letters “Q and R”.   Everyone did wonderful.  They also did an “R” word search. They love doing these.  For a craft today we made “Hand Trees”.  I traced each child’s hand/forearm and cut it out, then they pasted them onto paper.  I got out the colors of Fall/Autumn paints and some cotton balls.  You can see that the kids dipped the cotton balls into the paint and made “Leaves” on their hand trees.  They even made some leaves falling off.  Outside the kids had fun riding bikes around the circle, playing frisbee in a circle, swinging and climbing.  Next was lunch and three kids off to school. After school we had more outside play. The big thing was doing flips on the swing set bars.  They did such great jobs with their flips too. I am glad I caught them on film because some were not able to show their parent when they came for pick up. Enjoy.
