We had a very busy morning doing pre-school. We worked on the upper and lower case “Gg”. First the kids did a tracing worksheet, then they did “G” free hand on a separate piece of paper. We did a couple of mazes, one of them was to connect the number at the top of the page to the same number of sheep in the picture at the bottom of the page. They felt quite accomplished when they did that one. They kids also colored a picture of a “G”ingerbread Man. We played a shapes game. We didn’t play it according to the instructions, because honestly, it sounded difficult. So we used it to create matches/rows of the shapes, by pulling a block out of the bag. It was not a competition game really, I don’t are much for that. Each child got the same amount of shapes it was a matter of who had the most of one shape, creating the longest row. After school we played in the Playroom and there were a lot of games played like Cooties, Ants in the Pants, Dont spill the beans, dress up (Fashion show) Dora and more.
You will notice some pictures are of two of the children playing on the slip and slide. Those were taken yesterday morning when it was so hot out, before all the storms began. What a blast they had on that. I had already deflated the kids pool so that was the next best thing.
