Where care is most like home.

Today was all about Pumpkins.  First we made our own pumkins out of a half of a toilet paper roll, painted orange, and strips of orange constructioan paper. Once the paint had dried on the rolls, we began to glue each end of the construction paper strips into each end of the roll. Then we added a stem. This turned out to be more difficult then I expected, even for me. The glue was just not cooperating.  Then we played a Pumpkin game I recently got. It is a blow up pumpkin with 6 Halloween bean balls.  Each child would throw the six balls to get them into the Pumpkin, then the next child would do the same etc.  Each time we played the children woudl take a step or two back and try from the new spot.  They had a lot of fun playing this game.
